I love this app so much that I purchased all of the add ons because I quickly became addicted to all of my board game state. The way the app displays all of your information is fun and engaging. I love the challenges because they keep me going back to my board games. This app has helped me grab old games I haven’t played in a long time off the shelf as well as play new games that I had purchased but never got around to playing. This is probably the best app I have ever used and it’s free! The free information is probably enough for most people but I wanted more and wanted to support the creators. One thing I would love as a tiny improvement would be for the board game geek ratings of games to sync in real time. I added finspan to my owned games list when people were rating it low and now that it has received higher ratings I’d like that to sync and reflect. However, if I want it to reflect I need to re-add the game. Maybe I am doing this wrong but if an auto sync could happen that would be great! All in all get this app if you love board games and want to track your stats!

Not that there’s any rumor of it, but I hope this app never loses support. It makes logging plays, checking and maintaining your library, and looking up stats (amongst many other things) so easy to do. They really seemed to think of almost every possible feature you could want. I’m super impressed. Really happy this app is around. When I first started in the hobby I was using something else, it did the job but not like this one. Great job team!

It is easy to understand, reasonably priced, lacks ads, and can be as in-depth or simple as you want it to be. It helps me remember to not buy more games because I have games at home that I’ve played less than 5 times. It also helps me remember the great times I’m having with my friends around the table. Easy 5 stars

Such a great app for board gamers. Very easy to use, and always getting updates and fixes. I’m so impressed they deliver such an amazing app for only $5.

If you like board games and data, this is a no brainer. There are so many cool features and I love looking over the data, tracking games, and seeing which games I haven’t pulled out for a while.

If you care enough to track your plays on BGG, you need this app. It superpowers your BGG data and keeps things in perfect sync. You can filter your data in ways you can’t on BGG and the insights area is brilliant. My favorite feature that I just learned about is the random feature. I can sort by unplayed games that I own and click the random icon and it will pick one of the games for me. (you can use this feature on any filtered list). This approach might give me a shot of making it through my shelf of opportunity this year!

Really a great app. I’ve been using it for years and It just keeps getting better. The ability to import plays and players from BGA and Yucata is a huge timesaver. I love seeing stats for what games I’ve played the most and which friends I’ve played with and what my high scores are between games. Just all around fantastic.

Not that the app costs much but the developers are great and provide great support with frequent free updates. The couple of addons, which aren’t necessary, are worth the cost as well. Many of the free updates I’ve been motivated to tip for. They were that good. I’m a tightwad and still always motivated to pay a bit more. If you are a gamer, you need this app. Okay, maybe want this app.

This app is focused on the wrong aspect in my opinion. Most stats are based on number of plays, which is irrelevant. The stats that I want to focus on are wins and losses. Please contact me

This app has it all. The tagging for me is essential because I can create multiple labels per category for each of my games. This allows me to then filter down to any detail that I want and then it’ll help me choose the game I feel like playing…The stats that it offers is amazing. It tells me what types of games I need to go back to, or I need to improve on, or which ones I can recommend to my friends. This app is fantastic, I really recommend it. A one time fee is a perfect model for this type of app. Great job to the designers!

One of the best apps on my phone. These folks have put together the perfect app for board games. It has so much thought put into it. Love the tracking, the customizing, and the inventorying of my games. Plus it being tied to BGG just tops it off. Love this app. Completely worth the money if you are even a casual gamer who enjoys tracking info of any kind.

This app was already AMAZING. It now pulls in even more data from bgg inc “best with” and “recommended with” player counts. So when only 3 show up for your game night it’s now really easy to find the “best” game to play. The stats info is AWESOME too.

The developer knows their audience, and is obviously a BGG fan themselves. So much data, data, data for the people who like data about their board games. I’m amazed at how frequently new features are still packed in to this app.

The text size in this app is way too small to be usable. You can not read anything. This app is basically just for plays not keeping track of your collection not worth the money.

The amount of complexity these developers have to handle in designing this app is really quite a bit since there’s so many different kinds of games! There’s a bit of a learning curve to track things but then it’s pretty quick. Love the app, keep up the great work.

If you're wondering if this app is worth the upfront cost, IT IS! No recurring subscription (unless you want Cloud backup, which is unnecessary imo due to the other options provided). I have had this app for years and over the years have even paid for the app's "expansions" - which are reasonably priced and add extra functionality only the biggest nerds would need. You can tell the developers put a lot of love and passion into this app, and I'm certain they use it themselves and strive to make an app they can be proud of. There are frequent free updates adding new functionality and the devs even have a long and exciting wishlist public on their website! I would be excited to see any of those features but really hope "Expansion-specific board/variants and roles" is coming soon! I've been waiting for that one for years, but there's such a long list of planned enhancements I'm sure it's hard to decide what to work on next! This one would be really great for tracking games like Disney's Villainous. Praying they bump that closer to the top of the backlog and will be looking out to leave a nice tip whenever it's implemented! 😁🙏🏻💰 Thank you and keep doing what you're doing!!

Cool app - it was just disappointing that 3 minutes into the app I just bought I had to spend more money on the challenges (the only reason I bought it). This should be listed as in-app purchases.

This is the only app I have ever used the “tip the developer” button on. The amount of work they’ve put into this is incredible for the price, and I hope they continue to be as passionate about updates and improvements as they have been the last few years. A must-have app for board gamers.

I started tracking game plays this year and this app has made all the difference. The recent addition to include scoring templates specific to each game has made this app perfect. If you’re a hardcore gamer w a BGG profile, this app is must-have.

Great app, but even though the settings are there to ignore articles in game names for sorting, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Does anyone know a fix?

I love this app. Super easy to use. Syncs with BGG. I can create custom tags for filtering. If you play board games it’s a must have.

I wish I had known about this app a long time ago! I’ve been using it for nearly four years and have seen the app get even better over time as new features are regularly added. If you like to track what board games you play and when and also like to know how often you win and who you play with where, this is perfect. It also integrates well with the BoardGameGeek website to automatically download game information.

I waited several months to review so I could get a fair amount of time with the app and what it offers. I did end up paying for all the extras, because honestly, I just couldn’t stop myself. I was impressed with the apps abilities to parse the data and organize it without me having to create a million tables or generate specific queries. This was brilliant to have a lot of this built in and easily manipulate the data. I have to say the one feature I absolutely fell in love with for some reason was the challenges. I simply cannot stop myself from creating challenges for myself and games. All the different challenges gave me new ways to look at my games and find new ways to pull out older games I haven’t played in a while and fit them in with new games I haven’t yet played. This app truly offers up so much more than I could have hoped for and gave me new exciting ways to look at my collection of games. My only wish is that I could rate games on this app rather than having to still go to BGG directly to do that. (Unless I am missing that somewhere that I can)

I’ve been consistently impressed by this app, and their ability to add new features I didn’t even know I wanted.

Great app that works seamlessly, provides excellent data and is easy to use…but holy heck!!! What’s with all of the updates? I swear, this app gets updated at least once a week. Then there’s always an annoying pop up that tells you what was updated. Which you’ll soon learn to ignore. But will still find annoying. 5 stars, but maybe push an update once a month? Maybe even every other?

I’ve been tracking my plays with this app since 2018 and it’s awesome. I love that I can look at things like which champion I should use next in Dice Throne due to a lower play count, who in my family has the highest score in Kingdomino, how often I’ve won with Black Panther in Marvel Champions, and who has the highest win percentage in my Monday Night Games group for 2022. This app is ALWAYS adding more features that make it even better. Well well well worth the price.

Have logged hundreds of plays and use this app to keep track of my game library too. Dev and support has always been very helpful when there’s an issue and I love the improvements over time. Cute also that you can share and have challenges!!! 10/10!!

Needs better support for teams. Everything is great. Except team stats. Currently it can keep track of teams and you can name them and make them win. But app does not keep track of team win rates (ie how often do the demons win in Knightfall). The workaround to give everyone the Knight Role if they’re on the Knight team also doesn’t solve this problem, and stats actually get screwed up looking at “Role Set” stats. Please, fix team support for stats. Manually assigning roles each time is annoying and slow, and worst of all it doesn’t even solve the problem.

I have been using this app for 7 years now and I must say that it is incredible. I love being able to look back at plays with different people and at different events. It is very easy to add plays and new games. I love this app

I have tried SO many apps for organizing my board game collection and logging plays. Nothing compares to this one. The interface is intuitive, the features worth every penny, and the constant updates and support are out of this world. I'm constantly recommending it to other people.

This lets you track your plays and game collection in so many awesome ways! Want to remember what games you played with this friend before? Want to find 6 player games? With tagging you can create you own tags like gateway, best with 3 players etc. Want to sync your tracking with family or friends? I’ve been using this app for almost 10 years and I just keeps getting better!

I hope this app never goes away just love it! Keeps getting better and feature rich with each release.

The app is pretty great, however since the 5 dollar pay upfront plus you added expansions that we need to have in order to get every stat, it’d be great if ratings of our board games can be added to this app from BGG. Since this is a stats app ratings should be essential to the app

I have been using BGStats since the Sept 2017. I love it.

Really love this app. Love that while most other devs create board game apps, then abandon them while they remain a buggy mess, this app continues to be maintained. As a result, it looks and functions beautifully. Though I have to say I’m not really crazy about how all the extra little things are $2. Just point me toward the full paid version and I’ll buy it for like $10-$15, but separating out all the features makes me not want to buy any of them. I did just encounter a bug when trying to take a picture of my game btw. Both times after I tapped take a picture, the app completely froze. Taking pictures of my final play state is a huge thing for me! Please don’t take that from me! :(

We have had this app for over a year and I am constantly amazed at the new ways the updates allow me to store, calculate, and sync my data. This is the most phenomenal app out of every single app I own across the board. And when it comes to Board Games, I recommend this one and only this one. It leaves all other board game apps in the far distance.

Board Game Stats is in my top ten most-used apps. I’ve had it since it originally came out and love it. The developer updates it regularly with meaningful improvements. I gladly pay for the subscription for the sake of continuing to support one of my favorite apps of all time. Thank you for this app!

Is there any way I can get the older version without that collection feature added? Very unnecessary for me. Also, the visual changed so much (cumbersome numbers in ranking, small fonts all over, absence of some pie charts) which I regret deeply to gave updated the app.

It’s a very useful app for keeping your records of games . However , i would love to see other options for winning than just points ( for example Military or Scientific dominance in 7 wonders duel )

I never wrote reviews but I use this app all of time and am amazed on how the functionality keeps getting better. It’s so flexible and powerful. Adding expansions is a game changer too. A+++ Thank you for a terrific tool.

I never review apps (or anything in general) but I’ve been using BGS for over a year now and could not be happier. The team behind the app are constantly updating it, and it is well worth the money.

This is an AMAZING app for tracking plays of board games. Excellent graphic design, easy data entry, well supported. Great insight into games played, win %s, durations, player counts, and much more. If you are a gamer I strongly recommend you give this a try.

This app is awesome! I’ve only been using it since January this year but it is already one of my most used apps. Some my favorite features are: 1. Being able to see at glance how many plays each game has 2. Being able to access BGG directly from the app Some suggestions and ideas for the developer 1. When adding a new play, the date automatically goes to the current day 2. in who owns, it you should be able to list online game websites 3. In co-op only one score 4. In new location, you should be able to use current location 5. 5/?? There needs to be a slash option in the scoreboard 6. Needs semi co-op

Occasionally has bugs/issues but the developer works to fix them frequently

One of my most used apps. Prior to bgstats logging plays was such a chore on BGG even with things such as SPLU. I’ve been using BGStats for 2-3 years and have been very impressed by the constant updates and improvements that have been added. Now I use it to primarily enter all new game acquisitions and as proof to my wife that I don’t win every game we play!

Really don’t know why I can’t add games....keeps crashing...I guess $4 for nothing. I’ve made worst purchases but still...
